Welcome to LadyHoldem.com! I’m Cathy Roberts, known industry wide as a a leading provider of quality poker, casino, bingo and other gambling content. If you have any questions about the service I provide, I’d be happy to help you personally, shoot me an email, an IM or a private message on any one of the forums that I frequent.
I’ve also done my best here in this document to outline my terms of service, billing and payment policy.
Business Location
Any customer that places an order with me is placing an order with an Independent Contractor operating as a Sole Proprietor. My mailing address follows:

Jurisdiction
By signing up for, and/or engaging in business transactions (ordering any sort of writing or website content, or buying any service, including directory submissions, etc.) with Cathy Roberts, you consent to the jurisdiction of the United States of America, State of Oregon , County of Multnomah for purposes of legal disputes.
Sales Tax:
I, Cathy Roberts am located in Oregon, in the United States. Since this is the state where I conduct all business, I do not charge sales tax. There is no sales tax in Oregon.
Client Age
Age of Customers: By signing up for a service, placing an order and/or rendering a payment, customers swear and/or affirm that they are at least 18 years of age.
Refusal of Service
I reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, for absolutely any reason. One such reason is that I am not able to ener into contracts for services with minors.
Force Majeure
I, Cathy Roberts will not be held responsible if I am unable to perform some or all of my duties in the time frame agreed upon due to causes outside of my control, including, but not limited to earthquake, fire, flood, or any other natural disaster; war/nuclear attack (including civil war), invasion, act of foreign enemies, military action, labor dispute, strike, government sanction, blockage, embargo, lockout or interruption or failure of electricity, Internet, or telephone service.
Sickness
I am one person, I get sick. In the case of illness, your order may be delayed.
Time Frame
I will always do my best to meet or beat deadlines. I do however fall behind schedule. Such is the crazy life of being a work at home mom. I’m a mom first, and I work second. That’s why I chose this life. I don’t guarantee any time frame, ever.
Client Failure
Cathy Roberts will not be held responsible if she cannot complete any task, or entire order due to the customer’s inability and/or refusal to provide necessary and/or requested information such as login details, job parameters, and necessary details for a job.
Staff Composition
Cathy Roberts often works with other content writers, also working as sole proprietors. In some cases, Cathy Roberts will not be the only author working on your order. All of these terms and conditions still apply in any case.
Acceptable Payment Methods
Cathy Roberts accepts PayPal and some poker room transactions as acceptable payment methods. On some occasions arrangements can be made to accept other payment methods, such as bank wire transfers. checks, and money orders.
Customer Support:
On most occasions, I am writing your content, as well as providing customer service to all clients. I am not a 24-hour company. I do not have ‘normal business hours’. Support is offered via email, however, as time permits, I will answer inquiries via instant messengers and forum Personal Message systems.
Please expect a response to your inquiry within 2 business days. I do not answer support inquiries on the weekend. If I do answer a request for support on a weekend, this is an exception, and does not nullify this term.

I do not however ever provide support via threads created on these forums. False claims posted in forum threads may be considered slander or libel.
Holidays
Support is not typically available on weekends or any American holidays, I may at my discretion however provide support during these times.
Intellectual Property Rights
Any work I am contracted to perform becomes the intellectual property of the client that hired me to perform the work. That client is welcome to edit it, translate it, and change it in any way they see fit so long as my name is not on the article. If my name is on the article as the Author of record, I reserve the right to approve any and all changes.
I will provide a notarized letter upon any clients request that I am the original author of any work that I provide to assist that client in the prosecution of plagiarists. The client will be expected to pay the cost of notarization.
Payment Terms
I am not able to grant credit or perform services in advance of payment, because of the nature of my services. For one-time projects, payment is due and payable upon acceptance of your quote, and prior to any work beginning. I may however, upon request, and at my own discretion, agree to installment payments for jobs that are over $500.00. For projects under this amount, payment is due in full prior to the start of the job.
For ongoing services, such as content writing, the initial payment is due immediately and must be paid in full prior to work starting. For monthly subscribers, the date of the first payment marks the due date for each additional month. In most cases, a PayPal subscription is required for ongoing content subscriptions.
Cancellations
I request at least 14 days notice of cancellation for clients canceling ongoing subscription services. I offer no refunds for orders placed, however, if a particular article is not yet written, clients are welcome to exchange that article for another title. In most cases if a client does not like a particular article, I’ll write them something else, this depends on the length of relationship between myself and the client, and how reusable the original article will be.
Guarantees
I am dedicated to providing each and every one of my clients with quality poker, casino, bingo and other gambling content services. In the case of a problem with any of my services, I will make every reasonable effort to resolve the issue.
By signing up for services, and engaging in services with me, you agree that:
- No refunds will be provided, and attempts at chargebacks and disputes will be dealt with as described in this policy, and those attempts will be met with appropriate criminal charges (theft of services and fraud).
- There are absolutely no guarantees as to results, including, but not limited to page ranking, search engine results, sales, conversions, etc.
This doesn’t mean that any customer should ever feel that he/she did not receive excellent content from me or anyone working with me, if there is a problem, send an email to me, be very specific as to what is wrong with the work that you have received and I will do whatever I am able to do to resolve the situation.
The above does not imply or promise a refund, as refunds are not given once services are provided.
Chargebacks
Disputes: I will make every attempt to resolve customers’ complaints. However, I firmly defend the no refunds.
I also reserve our right to initiate legal action in the appropriate court or venue, including criminal charges of theft of services and fraud, as well as civil remedies, and public humiliation/embarrassment. Every agreement made regarding my services is a legal and binding contract.
Warranties
All services provided by me are provided with no warranty, and no guarantee. I will do everything I can to make my clients happy. In some cases, a client may be considered unpleasable. I will still do my best to ensure even that client ends up feeling satisfied with my service. I make no promises therein however, if after several edits, the client still remains unsatisfied and I decide there is nothing further I can can do for the client, this term applies.
Recovery and Storage of your Content
In case something happens to your files, I may still have that file stored. I am under no obligation to store files, and do this just as a courtesy to you, and a reference for me.
