I went to a poker game tonight. The poker game was put on by a family that’s having a bunch of bad luck right now. $20 of every buyin was set aside to go toward the families rent, and helping them avoid shut-off notices etc. The remaining money went into the prize pool.

Both the mom and the dad are feeling the economic crunch, having been recently laid off.

20+ people confirmed to play in the event, 7 showed. The event included dinner, so the family together made food for 20+ people. The kids even made really yummy cupcakes! They might have broke even following the game, I’m not entirely sure. The mom is going to start doing some beginner writing, and they’re both searching for jobs.

Lots of people are facing hard times right now, what touched me about these guys is that they’re struggling, but they’re trying! They’re thinking out of the box, and they’re out busin’ their asses everyday looking for jobs.

To top it all off, they just took in their gramma! :O. So they’ve moved her in to. Along with their 4 kids, in their 3 bedroom house.  Anyway, every now n then.

Many new webmasters build amazing websites on sites like wordpress.com their first time out. Then they start to learn that they need a lot more access to their files, and freedom to create, so they head on over to Godaddy, or any other registrar (did you know Google is a Registrar? Start by adding 10 solid articles, with out a single link in them, then build, and link from there. Never ever never add affiliate links to your WordPress.com site, iffen you want to keep it .

Every week, I feature a theme, articles that I offer for $27.50 instead of my going rate of $35. They’re 500 words on average, though I’m not really a stickler about that.

Last week I wrote NFL matchup previews, and then overviews. This week I’m pondering a bingo theme. But if it were your choice.. What would you like to see me offer for sale. Forex is a consideration, I’m not sure though if there’s enough market for it.

Poker strategy is possible, but I may have done that in to the dirt . Someone asked today about hosting articles, buuuut, I think I really should stay in my niche.
