Writing the Poker Review
I am beginning with Absolute Poker today, starting on step one of my 13 steps, writing the review. I have a couple years worth of experience when it comes to actually writing the text for a poker review, however, I have some work to do on the programming and other fun stuff. Today I’ll write, tomorrow I’ll go through and edit one more time before I send the article off for professional editing. After that, my partner and I will take a fresh look at the article from an SEO standpoint before we post the new improved review for 2008 and hopefully start working on some fun aspects of the page.
My goal here is to write something detailed and useful. Super detailed, I mean if I’m going to bother, I may as well go for it. There are plenty of sites with nice reviews, so I want it all, and then some more, starting with the textual content. I’ll probably add about 10 sub headings to my review detailing everything from bonuses, to licensing. Once I have a bit of a draft written, including all of the things I want to say, I’ll visit a keyword suggestion script and see if there are any phrases I’d like to incorporate.
During the update, the old review will be visible, by old, I do believe that aside from some touch ups, that review has been up about two years. As we get the new review ready to be posted the tabs will also be updated, offering a lot more density on the first review page, and a few new options for readers.
I’d post the review here as I go, but then, I’d end up with duplicate content, so for now, you’ll just have to wait until I say it’s done to see the finished project.
